- Likes: “She was a triumph over ugliness, so often more beguiling than real beauty, if only because it contains paradox. In this case, as opposed to the scrupulous method of plain good taste and scientific grooming, the trick had been worked by exaggerating defects; she’d made them ornamental by admitting them boldly.”
- Dislikes: “You know those days when you’ve got the mean reds…. the blues are because you’re getting fat or maybe it’s been raining too long. You’re sad, that’s all. But the mean reds are horrible. You’re afraid and you sweat like hell, but you don’t know what you’re afraid of. Except something bad is going to happen, only you don’t know what it is.”
“You see I think everything’s terrible anyhow. Everybody thinks so—the most advanced people. And I KNOW. I’ve been everywhere and seen everything and done everything. Sophisticated—God, I’m sophisticated!” I started my derby career with the creation of the DC Rollergirls back in 2006, I skated with them for a little over a year until I transferred to Charm City. I am a coach/trainer for the Charm City Roller Girls, WFTDA Rep, Liaison for international roller derby leagues for the WFTDA, general go-to person for information relating to roller derby. I like to skate inside, outside, on slanty things. Snowboards and skateboards are fun. I enjoy traveling with the team across the country and who knows, maybe internationally one day? Go CCRG!
